As for my second reader session, which happened to be my last, on June 12, I was one of the 8 to 10 volunteers to help one of our OKU friends, Jia Hui to edit the notes that she had scanned as the notes got a lot of typing errors. Since we need to refer the real notes for the editing, we have to meet her to take the notes the night before on June 11. Because I was busy at that time, I met her the next morning to take the notes. She gave me 2 notes, so I thought, "Hmmm probably the editing doesn't take much time since she gave me two". Oh boy, I was so wrong. The typing errors was a lot! Let alone I have two notes to edit. All I thought was how can I finish my assignments on time, when can I have time to study etc etc. I had to admit, I complained..
But then when I think back, how about Jia Hui and other OKUs, who have disabilities unlike us, and they still managed to survive many obstacles without complaining while I just complained over editing notes. It hits me as I learned that it takes a lot of patience and time management to get things done on time and you know what? It was worthwhile. I also learned to appreciate what I have now and make use out of it. So I just continued editing the notes with a lot of patience and more considerate. It kind of took me a while to edit but I managed to finish it on time. Thank God! Alhamdulillah~ Before I forgot to mentioned, I get to learn new things like Sabah's cultures and traditional musical instruments (based on chapters) since I read it while editing the notes at the same time. Quite interesting notes to read. It was truly unforgettable reader session that I ever had. =)
