A great help
I was given a task by one of our OKU friends, Jia hui to help her in finding 200 words of English and its correspondence meaning. I listed 570 synonym words for her and even though it takes some time to list down all but then I was happy that I could help her and at the same time I could improve my grammar proficiency. I have learned a few words that I have never heard before and I believe it will be such a great help to Jia Hui as well. If it's not because of her, honestly I would not have the initiative to search and improve.
Thank you so much Jia Hui !
And here is a quote that I found and would like to share.
" Part of the problem with the word 'disabilities' is that it immediately suggests an inability to see or hear or walk or do other things that many of us take for granted. But what of people who can't feel? Or talk about their feelings? Or manage their feelings in constructive ways? What of people who aren't able to form close and strong relationships? And people who cannot find fulfillment in their lives, or those who have lost hope, who live in disappointment and bitterness and find in life no joy, no love? These, it seems to me, are the real disabilities.” ― Fred Rogers
