Today, we participated in the "Family Day" with the OKU.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we walked with the OKUs to the Varsity Lake. Throughout the walk there, I could only wonder how did the blinds manage to walk around, especially with so many banners hanging on the light posts. Besides that, I realized that there are pedestrian walkways that did not have tactile pavings.

When we reached the Varsity Lake, it started raining, and so we moved into the Gazebo to continue our activities. We played the 'Mystery Box' where we put our hand into a covered box and guess the items inside. Some of us are really freaked out by the weird sensation!

After that, we had a drawing competition. However, the twist here is we have to draw while being blindfolded. It was really funny when we looked at the results.

After ending our activities in the Gazebo, we visited the rabbit roadshow that was held in the Auditorium of Kompleks Perdanasiswa. The OKU enjoyed the roadshow and had chances to touch the rabbits and guinea pigs that was on display.

Upon returning to the hostel and had our lunches, we had a short closing ceremony with the principal of Za'Ba College, Dr Rohana and prizes were given to all groups that participated in the activities.

Overall, all of us enjoyed the "Family Day". Although many unexpected situations happened, we managed to carry out the activities successfully.
