Next, we discussed about which sub-topic to choose as there are 10 altogether. He chose the third sub-topic ( shortest length of contents compared to others ) for me to typed it out in Microsoft Word and then email it to him. It consist of 19 pages altogether to be typed and I must say it was a challenge for me at first but at the end, I realized that it wasn't only tested my patience but also tested my personal skills. I was glad that I learnt to be more understanding and able to do good deeds by helping him for his assignment. It was not an easy task for him as well because he still needs to summarize what I've done for his presentation slide purpose.
I was thinking that if he managed to go through difficulties just to complete his task with open-minded, so why can't we ? We have always been complaining about too much task given and lack of time is given to submit the task but then what about them, the disabled ones ? It somehow change my mindset in looking things at positive sides and to never complaint on little things in life. I really hope that we will still keep in touch with them even though we have completed our credit hours for this course. This social engagement project has benefited me and I believed, inspires us to be a better person in life. Do always appreciate the people around us, to be grateful and thankful for what we have in life especially to our parents and also, to not take things for granted.
