Braille comparably a typewriter is a system of reading and writing by the blind. It consists of arrangements of dots which make up letters of the alphabet, numbers, and punctuation marks. According to Weng Hang (Eugene), he said that En Firdaus used braille instead of computer to do his assignment which consist of more than 30 pages. It was surprising for me as the first thing cross my mind was time consuming. They have to key in every single letter or numbers one by one but they are doing it fine. It must have been so hard for them as they not only have to know all the numbers for each alphabet and punctuation but as well as to check each dots appeared on the paper to avoid mistakes. I myself could only remember a little as of 1 for A and 2 for B. So imagine remembering from A to Z.
I am grateful to have this opportunity to learn something new and has the chance to type it with my own hands. Thanks a lot to our OKU friends for willing to teach us. It was a great experience for me. I have always believe that the most beautiful things cannot be seen or touched but to be feel by heart =)
